[Last time, on SCP Foundation PCs...
Ripley has mostly calmed down the freaking-out at this point, but Phil[and anyone in the halls, really] probably could've heard the initial wave of Rage. And Medic is not doing himself any favors by explaining how this shit works.]
So! Essentially, the Ubervalve installed into your heart reacts to the beam of my Medigun when I've reached full Ubercharge, which is built up through me healing people.
When I deploy Ubercharge, the device reacts and shoots a high-voltage wave of healing throughout both of our bodies, temporarily making our bodies glow and making us impervious to multiple forms of damage!
For approximately 8 seconds, we become like gods.

ok "stapled" is such a crude way to put it, it's a heart transplant!
but yes. with all likelyhood I performed the surgery while we were all at that "Foundation", before our memories of that time were lost. And I always get permission from civilians before performing experiments! So there's no doubt that you agreed to it!

An Ubercharge is made to protect you from any damage. If I gave Ubervalves to some of you at the Foundation, they were intended to protect- whether that's because someone was in battle frequently or just exposed to lifethreatening situations regularly, I don't know!

[Ripley listens (and watches) as Medic and Phil go back and forth--though it's difficult to see what Medic is writing, exactly. At least she can gather from what Phil is saying the approximate idea of what Medic wrote.
After a while, she starts...laughing? Sort of like a breathless cackle as she doubles over, clutching at the blankets on her bed. It's...not really funny, but she can't help but be amused by the sheer absurdity of the situation at hand.]
