[Ripley spends the morning searching for Bennings in the resort. Eventually, she tracks him down in the restaurant. She approaches him, a sense of urgency in her step. She speaks in a hushed voice--]
Ripley takes a moment to listen at the door for anybody walking down the hallway. Seemingly satisfied, she turns to speak to Bennings in a hushed voice.]
I'm only telling you this because the Staff messed up and said you were a villager.
[She takes a deep breath.]
I'm the Knight, which means it's my job to protect the people here. I think it would be beneficial if we were to help each other out.
It wouldn't, necessarily. [Ripley crosses her arms, leaning against the wall.]
I just feel it would be better if we were able to reach out to other people we know we're able to trust. That way, we can work on eliminating who the mafia are.
[A pause.]
Besides, in a game like this, it's important to have allies.

He sits down on the bed and repeats what she just said to himself a few times, trying to process it.]
I'm not saying I won't help you out, but how would working with a "Peasant" like me be beneficial to you?
It feels more one-sided, if you ask me.
